Ever since the first antimicrobial was developed, microbes have evolved to develop resistance to the products designed to combat them. The development of antimicrobial resistance is a concern to CAHI. We believe that the prudent use of antimicrobials along with the presence of a veterinary-client-patient-relationship is the most effective means of combating resistance.
