The Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador is excited to announce recruitment for a small animal emergency critical care specialist to join our new referral hospital and help grow the emergency critical care service. This is your opportunity to help build a practice and create a service which matches your ideal for patient and client care with great support from both the public and our referring veterinarians.
We currently have boarded specialists in surgery and diagnostic imaging and provide twenty four hour care and emergency services for our patients and clients. We at VSCNL feel that an emergency critical care specialist would be an important complement to our rapidly growing practice. We are a well-equipped hospital, including advanced imaging and expanded minimally invasive capability.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and compassionate individual who is team oriented and motivated to help build the ICU and emergency services and continue the growth and expansion of the speciality services we provide within our hospital.

This position offers the candidate a competitive salary, a retirement matching program, medical, dental and vision insurance as well as compensation for licensing and professional membership dues. Continuing education stipend and paid vacation are standard. We are also offering negotiate compensate for relocation expenses. Candidates must have the ability to become licensed in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Preference will be given to individuals who are board certified (ACVIM) however, candidates with residency training in internal medicine are also encouraged to apply.
