Reporting to the Board of Directors and more specifically, the new DG will oversee the development and implementation of HPSA’s programs and marketing strategy, establish and maintain contacts with key players in government and related professional associations, provide continuity and policy guidance to the Board, continuously monitor public policy and political forums regarding the impact of new and changing key policies affecting Health products , and increase HPSA’s public profile. He or she will build networks of influence to ensure HPSA is seen as an important player in the healthcare and environmental stewardship dialogue on matters related to new or changes in policies for take-back programs (medication, needles and sharps) in Canada, while collaborating and demonstrating tangible value to its members and stakeholders.

As the ideal candidate, you are a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years’ executive-level experience in either an environmentally/health focused or member-based organisation.
