FAQ

We are here to help! If you do not see an answer to your specific question below please contact us.

We have three membership categories:

  1. Full Membership, which is reserved for those companies that manufacture and/or market licensed medications or registered veterinary health products under their own label in Canada
  2. Associate Membership, which is for those companies that are involved in related industries such as distributors, logistics providers, research firms, public relations companies, regulatory consultants, pet food manufacturers and more!  Companies with licensed veterinary medicines on the market in Canada are not eligible for Associate Membership.
  3. Not-for-profit Membership. New to 2023, CAHI added a ‘Not for Profit’ membership category to better serve the Canadian animal health industry.  If you are a not-for-profit organization in the animal health space, contact us today.

Membership fees will depend on your membership category. Please contact us, and we will be happy to review what category and fee best fits your organization.

We hold an Annual Convention every year in late May/early June. The Convention rotates locations each year and lasts 2-3 days. The Convention program includes inspiring keynotes, engaging breakout sessions and our Annual General Meeting with plenty of networking opportunities.

Our Annual Convention is also open to non-members, but members receive a preferred registration rate.
