Over 30 years ago, the CAHI Board of Directors wanted to ensure high ethical standards in the animal health industry and developed the Code of Marketing Practice for member companies. Adherence to the Code is a requirement of CAHI full membership and it serves to maintain a high standard of ethics for the promotion of animal health products by going beyond Canadian regulatory requirements.
CAHI began a comprehensive review of our Code of Marketing Practice. The Code of Marketing Practice Review Committee, in consultation with our members, industry partners and regulators reviewed the existing Code and made recommendations for necessary updates in 2023. Revisions are currently under way for 2024, and will be published early 2025.ย
